The White Swan Dinnington

What a lovely spacious restaurant, overlooking the garden area, graced with a fountain and pond.

Nicely greeted and seated by a smiley waitress who was very well informed about the homemade food on the large varied menu.

As usual, I ordered my favorite, giant prawns in garlic but boy, I didn’t expect these delicious monsters.

My guest’s grilled salmon was a generous size and cooked to perfection (yes! I dug my fork into taste)

I struggled to get my jaw around an extra-large super-duper 100% Beef burger which was loaded with layers of melted cheese, Onion rings, egg, tomato, Gherkin, salad, served with homemade fries, and coleslaw.

It had me beat and I couldn’t manage a dessert.

You’ve really got to put this pub on your list. You can pop in for a pint and sandwich at the bar.

I’ll be back here often and it’s only minutes from Newcastle airport. Definitely worth the 5star award.
